ALL THAT GLITTERS

Have you ever fancied a deliciously feminine boudoir? I know I have, but like most married women there is another person who shares that room with me that might feel differently! What's strange is that when I was younger I never particularly liked pink, but with age it has become a colour that I love to use in my home...

I came across this interior on Jen Ramos's pinterest board today and I just had to share it with you. Created by interior designer Kristin Peake, it was the mirrored dressing table and cute artwork that first caught my eye, and THEN I saw that gilded oversized headboard!

This would be an incredibly easy thing to recreate - with some highly metallic paint and some architrave that is used around windows! It's is the highlight of the room in my opinion and even if you didn't want such a 'pretty' feel you could easily use a darker metallic paint to give it a more masculine edge.

How cute is this fluffy pendant light and the gallery wall is framed designer shopping bags!

And what woman doesn't dream of a wardrobe like this? And that zebra carpet - oh my!

I also love this clever use of a 'dead' space - the perfect place to chill out!
